Everyone, besides Scrooge, loves Christmas and with decorated trees and carols (and crowded malls) comes Christmas parties. When you are doing them for kids about all you have to do is say the words “Christmas party” and they faint. With adults it is not quite as easy but everyone is in a good mood and at least willing to try to have fun. If you have some great Christmas party games for adults you can be sure it is a hit. Even if everybody does not know each other at the start of the party they will all be friends at the end.
One game you can play is called the Christmas Kiss. Do not be too concerned if you are hosting this event at a company Christmas party. It is not as dangerous as it sounds. To start – divide the participants into teams and place them in a line. People wear large oven mittens, run to a candy bowl and pick out a Hershey kiss. While wearing the cumbersome mittens, the person must unwrap the candy, carry it back to the team, and feed it to the next person in while. After this occurs, the next person can put on the mittens and have a go.
The other game is similar but two people from each team go. Instead of a candy dish there is a present in need of wrapping. Watching two people trying to wrap a present with mittens on is funny, especially when they try to use the Scotch tape.
One last game that can be played is called Christmas carol charades. In this game, you obtain a stack of index cards and write down the names of different Christmas carol songs. One player then reads the cards and acts out the Christmas song for his or her team. When the team believes that they have correctly identified the song, they must sing it in order to win the round.
These are just three of dozens of Christmas party games for adults. There are many, many more that can be implemented for christmas party planners. Some are uniquely Christmas and others are a seasonal version of a party game. It won’t matter. Once you get everybody laughing and enjoying themselves the party will be a big hit.
