Fishing Charters on All Inclusive Holidays In Egypt Apr 28

Notice: Use of undefined constant user_level - assumed 'user_level' in /home/restjunction/www.restjunction.com/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-google-analytics/ultimate_ga.php on line 525

The warm climate, relatively calm current and amazing range of fish qualifies the Red Sea as a huge tourist attraction. Many holidaymakers opt for all inclusive holidays in Egypt to make the most of its countless diving and fishing experiences, which are available across a number of Egypt’s fishing resorts.

Fishing trips are available at most resorts. You can choose between a day charter or a week-long safari, depending on how much of a fishing fan you are. Hurghada is one of the Red Sea’s major fishing marinas. Once a small fishing village, Hurghada’s quality and quantity of fish has turned it into a thriving tourism resort.

Although shore fishing is banned, most charters use trolling to catch the fish. This is simply sailing the boat slowly whilst trailing lures and baits. It’s usually done along the reef edges and is considered environmentally friendly. All good fishing seems to happen early in the morning or in late afternoon. For this reason, most day charters leave the marina at 9.30am and return by 4.30pm.

There are 42 species of deep water fish and an amazing 120 species of fish that aren’t found anywhere else in the world. Small wonder that keen fishermen come to the area on all inclusive Egypt holidays. The most common fish species here are barracudas, kingfish, yellow and blue fin tuna and snappers. The range of fish, which includes 44 different shark species, is due to the 1240 miles of coral reefs.

When embarking on a day’s fishing during cheap Egypt holidays, make sure to pack some protective sun tan lotion, as well as a sun-shielding hat. You won’t want to suffer from sun burn or sun stroke during or after your trip. Additionally, you’ll need to pack a few layers, as the salty breezes offshore can prove chilly at times. During your trip, you’ll be able to freshen up with toilet and shower facilities, which all fishing boats offer. Last but by no means least, make sure you pack a camera to record any exciting species of fish you come across.

Stay at Cyprus Hotels And Spend a Day At Buffavento Castle Apr 27

Notice: Use of undefined constant user_level - assumed 'user_level' in /home/restjunction/www.restjunction.com/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-google-analytics/ultimate_ga.php on line 525

Buffavento Castle is one of three Crusader castles originally built by the Byzantines in the 11th century. Located 950 metre above sea level, people come here from Cyprus hotels to see the superb views over the northern coastline of Girne. The castles main function was that of a watch tower and prison.

Given its location, the ascent to the top is very arduous and should not be attempted in the summer, when there is unremitting sun. In the middle of the 15th Century, Buffavento castle was slowly dismantled by the Venetians for use in the construction of other fortifications.

Meaning “Buffeted by the wind”, Buffavento castle has provided not only defense against attackers, but also, supposedly, a cure against illness. There is a famous tale of the Byzantine woman Helena who suffered, along with her dog, from the skin disease leprosy, but by following her dog to a spring beside the castle, she found the waters soon cured them both. Helena expressed her gratitude by forming the Monastery of Ayos Ioannis Chrysostomos, a sacred place where other lepers came to be cured themselves.

In the 14th century, the Lusignans extended the base of the castle. The castle relies on the mountains for protection and so is not regular in shape. Two hundred years later during the Venetian rule from 1489- 1571, the castle was dismantled and fell into disrepair as the coastal castles of Cyprus were then deemed more important.

The castle is quite a trek to get to. Once there, there is not much to see of the original castle. People come here from Cyprus hotels for the view from the top. Up the stairs from the gatehouse there is a 10 minute steep climb to the top level where you will see a panoramic view of Nicosia, Famagusta and Kyrenia. Most clear days, you’re able to see too, the mountains of Troodos in the south.

The Red Sea resorts of Sinai have many fantastic holiday deals and are among the most popular in Egypt with both Sharm el Sheikh and the lively Naama Bay being full of modern hotels.

You’ll be able to meet and buy goods from the local people who have made the Sinai desert their home for centuries.

Greece and the Greek islands lie just across the Mediterranean from northern Egypt and have been a staple of the tourist experience for many years. In Corfu families head north to Sidari while the south of the island is known to young revellers heading for the raucous nightlife in Kavos. Sights of Canada on a Cruise Apr 20

Notice: Use of undefined constant user_level - assumed 'user_level' in /home/restjunction/www.restjunction.com/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-google-analytics/ultimate_ga.php on line 525

If you fancy seeing the beautiful wide open spaces of Canada, why not consider booking onto a Canadian cruise? Rather than forking out for jam-packed flights, you can enjoy taking the journey by sea in your own spacious cabin. If you’re going to travel to Canada by cruise, avoid going in summer if you can, as this is when it’s busiest. The best time is during the autumn season, when the colours, the clear days and the changing climate is absolutely stunning. Plus, as it’s not peak season, you can bag some discount cruise offers as well.

If you are looking for the most scenic and popular cruise journey in Canada, the one to go for is the Inside Passage To Alaska. Head up to the northern coast from Vancouver, and take in some breathtaking views of the Alaskan landscapes. There are over a million people who do this trip every year, such is its effect, and as such there are a large number of cruise ships which travel this route.

If you’re starting from Vancouver you have plenty of other options as well, such as the Glacier Discovery Cruise, or the Glacier Inside Passage Cruise, from Holland America cruises. These are two extremely scenic journeys, and in addition to the glaciers and mountain landscape you might even see some wildlife. Some of these routes even take in the Northern Lights, which if you’re very lucky you’ll be able to see on your cruise.

An activity-filled cruise is offered by Royal Caribbean in the autumn, just as the leaves are turning. You’ll be able to retrace some of America’s history by walking the 3 mile Freedom Trail in Boston, you’ll have the opportunity to mountain bike through Acadia National Park and sail the coast of Nova Scotia in a 63 foot schooner.

Also included is a trip to Freeport for some serious shopping. World famous L.L. Beane is here as well as a hundred other shops. A Lobster Bake is also provided en route – an authentic taste of the North East. You also visit to Quebec’s stunning Montmarency Falls, which at 82 metres high is a sight to behold.

London Hotels Are The Best For Business Trips Apr 18

Notice: Use of undefined constant user_level - assumed 'user_level' in /home/restjunction/www.restjunction.com/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-google-analytics/ultimate_ga.php on line 525

Make your time away from loved ones a bit better with a stay in a good hotel. The chances are you wont be able to experience the sights and sounds of a city when you are visiting on a business trip, but at least after a tiring day you can go back to somewhere comfortable. London hotels are some of the very best around because you can mix business with your own convenience. Here’s how.

In fact, in many cases you can even take the opportunity to entertain your clients or colleagues. If you’re in London for business, it’s the ideal opportunity to explore the historic capital of business and commerce, and you can take in the old Lloyds building and the new “Gherkin” high rise among other notable sights. The Thistle City hotel in the Barbican area is set up for business guests, offering catering services, conference rooms, parking and wifi. You can hold your meetings in the same place you can relax and put your feet up in. Now that’s convenience.

Another quirk of Thistle City Barbican is the free shuttle service which takes you to Moorgate, Barbican and Old Street tube stations. Best of all though, once your work is done, you can simply go upstairs and rest! There are similar places all over the city to do this too.

The Docklands area of Greenwich is home to some of Europe’s tallest skyscrapers and organisations such as Citibank and Barclays.

If you’re doing business where client relationships need some building or nurturing, corporate hospitality goes a long way. A great idea is to take clients to sporting events, and if you’re doing business up in Scotland, check out Edinburgh’s Murrayfield stadium. Home to rugby and other sports, and also a place where concerts are regularly held, it’s a great option for taking clients out after a hard day’s work. Best of all, it’s conveniently located for many great Edinburgh hotels, which cater to business travellers.

Greece Hotels: The Best Places to See During Low Season. Apr 18

Notice: Use of undefined constant user_level - assumed 'user_level' in /home/restjunction/www.restjunction.com/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-google-analytics/ultimate_ga.php on line 525

If you’ve ever considered a trip to Greece, it’s worth booking your Greece hotels now. This is a popular destination and it’s easy to see why; from ancient Greek ruins and temples, to delicious fresh food, to stunning white beaches and hilly trails, so much appeals. The whole country is varied yet is consistent in its beauty and cultural charm.

The best time of year to go might appear to be summer, but in fact you should try going in the low season. This is usually April, or October, before or after the tourists have swarmed in and then out again. The weather might not be as bakingly hot as it will be in July or August, but this can be a blessing; it’s the perfect temperature for walking in the beautiful hills. And the weather will still be warm enough to enjoy the beach… which will be devoid of the summer crowds.

The obvious upside to travelling in the low season is the lower prices. Hotels offer reduced rates prior to tourist season (which starts in May) and many throw in rental cars in the same room price.

In high season many people like to choose to go island hopping in Greece, although in the low season, departures a limited. It’s definitely still possible, but then again, without the crowds it can be nice to take it easy and not try to see too much. Choose just two or three islands to see, work out the boats which are going, and then lay back and relax the rest of the time. You’ll get to know more places intimately this way.

So in addition to discounted Greece hotels, secluded beaches and warm, mild days, you can still do all the usual sightseeing and activities. From boat tours to walking tours, to ruins and museums, most things will still be open for the visitors who are smart enough to visit this beautiful country in the low season.

Tenerife Hotels and Teenagers Apr 18

Notice: Use of undefined constant user_level - assumed 'user_level' in /home/restjunction/www.restjunction.com/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-google-analytics/ultimate_ga.php on line 525

It can be hard to entertain every member of your family on holiday and whilst you may be enjoying the sun, sea and sand, your teenagers may be sat bored in background. Teens love doing new things and there are lots of activities to do for those staying in Tenerife hotels, that will keep them occupied, from go-karting to wind-surfing.

When booking Tenerife hotels, make sure you check the on-site facilities, as it may be worth paying that little bit extra for a hotel with tennis courts and games rooms, but it will definitely be worth it. There are many good hotel deals, which offer plenty of activities and your teenagers will be sure to make good use of them throughout your stay.

Go-karting is a fun activity that is suitable for all ages, as it can sometimes be difficult thinking of a way to spend the day together with the entire family. The Carting Club Las Americas in Tenerife is the answer. This club has various length tracks and karts of all sizes, so everyone should be able to take part and have a great time too.

Parque Nacional de las Caadas del Teide is a lovely national park that the whole family can explore and enjoy. The countryside is spectacular here and provides lots of opportunities for creative teenagers who love taking photographs everywhere they go. The terrain is great for hiking, but you could even enquire about hiring some mountain bikes.

You can’t travel to Tenerife without splashing around in the glistening, clear sea, but for those who want more of a thrill on the water, there are lots of water-sports to try. Water-skiing and wind-surfing are the top two activities that attract teenagers on holiday here, so head down to the beach and have a go.

Why not get an underwater camera for your teenager to use when diving in the beautiful sea to capture some of the incredible sea life down there on film. Diving off the coast of Tenerife is a popular activity and provides a fantastic opportunity to spot some dolphins, as well as turtles and tropical fish.

As a travel writer, Steve Alexander has built up an extensive knowledge of Tenerife hotels. For more information on the best hotel deals go to Hotels4U.com.

Observe Whales, Sea-Turtles & Butterflies with Mexico Hotels Apr 16

Notice: Use of undefined constant user_level - assumed 'user_level' in /home/restjunction/www.restjunction.com/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-google-analytics/ultimate_ga.php on line 525

Animal-lovers who are staying in Mexico hotels are spoilt for choice when it comes to animal attractions. The country’s diverse wildlife offers tourists an array of animals to observe, from tiny butterflies to gigantic whales. All you need to do is time your holiday to coincide with the time you’re most likely to see your favourite animal and you can’t go wrong.

If it takes a lot to impress you, then you should visit Mexico in winter to see some magnificent grey whales. These marine mammals swim six thousand miles to give birth in the Sea of Cortez’s warm waters. Tourists who are particularly interested in whale-spotting should consider visiting Magdalena Bay, where you’ll have lots of whale watching tours to choose from.

Tourists who are staying in hotels in Mexico can visit a large number of Mexican butterfly reserves, which include Piedra Herrada and Cerro Pelon. These reserves allow tourists to witness these beautiful insects, which include millions of the Monarch species. With their butterfly populations soaring in January and February, these reserves are open to the public from mid-November until March.

Those who love sea-turtles should head to the beaches on Mexico’s Caribbean coast. Each year, thousands of female sea turtles swim to these shores to lay their eggs. Upon arrival, they use their flippers to dig their nests before laying and covering their eggs. Seeing thousands of sea-turtles on one beach is a remarkable sight. Fifty days after their mothers have left the scene, the baby sea-turtles emerge from the nests and find their way to the sea.

As you can gather, Mexico offers its visitors a wide variety of animal attractions. From tiny butterflies and baby sea turtles, to giant, grey whales – there really is something that will appeal to every animal-lover who is staying in Mexico hotels. Simply make sure you time your visit correctly to ensure you give yourself as much chance as possible to witness your favourite animals in action.
