This 43 m tall building is built in the style of the baroque and was built in the 18th century. Secondly, the Explanada is a thoroughfare which is located on the south west of El Barrio. It is one of The City’s most dramatic sites. The pedestrianized area is composed of six half-million tiny tiles. It is a cosmopolitan area that people are just drawn to. And last, but by no means least, is the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (Museo Arqueologico). This building houses some of the best artefacts depicting the region’s past.
